Is the app free?
Yes, to start: chapters 1–3 (22 lessons), the full dictionary and sentence playback are free. Premium unlocks all 114 lessons across 23 chapters for €3.99 a month or €34.99 a year, bought and cancelled through the App Store or Google Play.
My family is from Al Hoceima, not Nador. Does it work for me?
The course teaches the Nador variety specifically, not a blended standard — it's the one the native speaker behind it actually grew up with. Most of it carries over well between Rif varieties; where words genuinely differ, that's exactly the kind of gap the community page is there to close.
Can you really learn to speak Tarifit with an app?
You won't be fluent from an app alone — nobody promises that honestly. What is Tarifit?
Tarifit (Rifisch, Riffian Berber) is the Amazigh language of the Rif region in northern Morocco — spoken, not standardly written, and passed down mostly at home. That's exactly why a course built by an actual native speaker, not a generic phrasebook, matters here.
